Life is a rollercoaster, you just gotta ride it

Today has been an... interesting today.

It started with a medical assessment as part of my ESA benefit. I drove out to Shrewsbury, got poked and prodded and growled, showed I have very little mobility and lots of pain. Went through my entire medical history. Talked through a lot of depression issues, covering anxiety, panic attacks, general day-to-day-ness and taking-care-of-myself-ness.
Now, the assessor writes a report based on the assessment and sends it back to the DWP... the result of this assessment decides how much money i'll get in the future.
I hate playing the waiting game.

I was very amused when the first question she asked me was 'what are you currently being treated by your doctor for'
My answer: how long have you got. I even gave it her alphabetically!

Today is also day 3 of my diet. And so far I've lost 4lb. I personally think I've pissed it all out. Part of it is that I'm to drink 2l of water, which I'm not used to doing. It's been a good month since I've drunk that much so I'm constantly peeing. My innards are going to be very clean.

It's a calorie controlled diet and I'm using sparkpeople.com
According to their calculations, based on the amount of weight I need to lose I need to consume 1,390 - 1,740 calories, 184 - 266 carbs, 36 - 64 fat and 60 - 144 protein per day.
I've never counted calories before in my life and I'm finding it both hard work and very interesting.

I also know I can't expect weight lost like that first 4lb to continue. I know that was water loss and its only going to be like 1-2lb a week.

I'm hoping to lose circa 60lb.
My main aim, however, is NOT weight related.
It's to fit back in my favourite jeans by Asylum 6 in May.

That's... about it from the Land Of Llama for today so I shall leave you with
