Day One
I got to play with a policeman's big stick this morning LMFAO!
LOL yes, first day with the Constabulary went quite well really. They're all a bunch of complete nutters so I think I'm going to fit in pretty well. I was so damn nervous when I get there, we're talking nervous to the point of being incredibly scared but Jo (my line manager), Mel (whos training me) and Chats (the sarge!) relaxed me and we got on with it.
The coolest thing of the day was logging on to the system - you use your fingerprint!
How fucking cool is that?!?!?!?
Still learning all the different bits of the system and the job but i seem to be picking it up ok so far so here's keeping fingers crossed
And trying not to lose any because that might make logging on a little difficult!!!!
We DO have men in uniform walking around, but they're all about like 40 and very not-cute. which seriously sucks haha. But it's only day one so there's room for improvement.
Oh, and was told my MADE knuckleduster wasn't very feminine. According to a bloke wearing a pink shirt that is.
