R.I.P Dimebag
Yesterday at about 7:30 am i found out about The tragedy that happened. I tried my hardest not to think about it while i was at work. I then did some reading on various sites found some video footage and watched it. I am so sad that this has happened to a great person of the music industry.
Last night on my way home from my moms house i thought i about how many times i had sat down and watched panteras home video 3 "watch it go " with my brother and it made me think of just how horrible the remaining band members of damageplan and the two former members of pantera must feel. All the fun and laughter that was shared, all put to an end by some psychotic person. It makes you think of what was going through that persons mind when they did what they did and what they thought that they were going to get out of doing such a crime. Alot of the articles that i have read and numerously stated that this has been a ripple in the heavy metal world, well fuck the ripple this has been an earthquake of the most extreme effect.
With all of this floating through my mind last night as i am falling asleep, with the mix of my pregnant hormones i had the following dream. It started out with me having to deliver a casket for someone, ( unknown) when i delivered said casket i had to place the body in side myself (eww).I then proceed to the funeral of Dimebag. It was weird there was no one there but me as if i had gotten there too early. But the coffin was there with him in it. I cried and told him how he would never be forgotten. I then proceeded to pull out of my pocket a pair of Serengeti sunglasses and placed then on the coffin, but before doing so i had to see for myself that it was actually true so i lifted the hood of the coffin and lying inside was Dimebag, with a warm smile on his face and a pair of Serengeti sunglasses on.
I woke from this dream this morning at about two am and was not able to go back to sleep. I know that after reading all this you all probably think i made all of this up just to put a posting on this but i dont post unless i have something worth posting about.
