i went camping with Jason, Matt, and Heather Saturday night of Labor Day weekend. obviously my plans to go to the beach didn't work out too well, but it's all good.
here's our evidence:
all of us forgot to bring firewood. in fact, Jason and i didn't really take anything except beer, a tent, and sleeping bags because camping was a very spur-of-the-moment type of thing. so here's the fire we eventually got started using Heather's headlights, another camper's ply wood, my dad's Atlas from my trunk, and some of my nailpolish remover, haha. but the boys kept it up and going. by the way, it was my first time camping. i liked it.
i really need to straighten my bangs.

this baby raccoon wouldn't leave us alone!
i know i look like shit. so what? it's camping god damnit.
silly thing. it shouldn't have gone near my car, it could've been road kill!
the fire didn't scare it. it actually bit the flaming stick, ran away, then came back.
he came back for marshmallows!
...and the beer that we hid behind the tree because the rangers came right up to us and started talking.
i puked in the tent later that night. i couldn't get the fucking door unzipped in time! oopsies!
on Labor Day the same four of us went out on the reservoir in two canoes. it was rainy and cold, but we had 40s to keep us warm. i found a cool rock and Jason found a gecko that Heather and i played with for a while. i almost did the splits for the first time while trying to get back in the canoe. then, right as we were done and coming up near the dock, Jaseyface decides to jump out of it and then the canoe rolled over and i fell out! so i've now gone swimming in the reservoir! but not by choice.
