I once told myself.. if Pink Floyd came round.. I would do whatever it took to see them... I have now seen Roger Waters in concert... doing.. Dark Side of the Moon.... I have now seen that twice live... and now I have seen Waters.... the singer/bassist of Pink Floyd... I love you James/Val! THANKYOU!
We went Tuesday night... I skipped class, and almost didn't get an essay written.. and only got 4 hours of sleep for my 8 hour shift the next day at work.. but.. ooooohhhh.. goooooods... It was SOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it...
And I got a new shirt! I like this shirt!
Man, oh man.... IT WAS ASWOME!!!!!!!!!!
They opened with "In the Flesh" from the Wall... it just.. beautiful opening song!
And Shine on you Crazy Diamon... Have a Cigar.. WISH YOU WERE HERE!!!!!!!! Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun. The Final cut. The Entire....ENTIRE!!!!!!.. Dark Side of the Moon. was the 2nd half. They played Brick in the wall pt 2. with Happiest Days of our Lives of course... and Nick?...NICK.... Vira Lyn.. and.. yes.. you guessed it.. they went into... BRING THE BOYS BACK HOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh.. and in the middle of Sheep.. they busted out a big inflatable pig.. moved it around the audiance.. on one side.. it said. "Don't be led to the Slaughter" on the other.. someething I could not read.. and on the rump.... "Impeach Bush Now!"... Man.. that was a political concert. Alot of anti-war stuff. but Waters is VERY anti-war.
James and I both had the same thought on sight of the Pig.. "Ride the pig gir... ride the pig.."
He also played some stuff from The Final Cut, and some of his own stuff I don't know, including a new song of his. ...It was a good screen show.. with some fun pyro in places.. oh.. and for Mother... they had one of the female backup singers do the mother part.. it made it better...
What else did they do... Comfortably Numb.... yes.
Nothing from Momentary Lapse of Reason.. but he might not have been on that album... Gods.. it was so much godliness... the Gods blessed the concert with the moon too... during Dark Side... the moon came up over the side of the ampitheater... It added a nice touch.. gods..... gods... so .........oh... just... no words.... Thank you JAMES! AND VAL!

If anyone around me needs a musical instrument.. I may be able to get you one.. cheap... don't ask how.. but in theory.. it'll be new... straight from the manufacture. I need to check a few things first. But yes. We're talking realllly cheap. Like half retail. on average. Don't ask my sources... just let us say.. in my standard Erik fashion.. I have extended my spheres of influence.
So yes, Anyone need a musical instrument? Just let me know what, and I'll see what I can get.
