Water water everywhere.. not a drop to drown in...

The creek behind me.. like..50 feet behind me...is now only 30 feet behind me.. and if it raises another 7-10 will flood my apartment.. now. That's a lot of water to get it that high. But considering how high it is now. I could see it happening in the right conditions. We are about to launch an expedition to explore the extent of the flooding. We just went an examine the first bridge, and it's really cool. So Now we are going to go to the 2nd bridge, then check out the roadways a bit. Last time it rained this hard there was massive floodingness. And with all that junk that got knocked out of trees a week or so again, I suspect it's a real possibility that I may end up living on an Island tonight.

I think it's Awesome! But of course I would.

Ben and I went walking out to investigate the creek, which was insane... then met up after a way with a guy and his son, then went exploring... and ended up on campus after many winding turns... then came back... we were soaked, and my boots and soaked. We had to wade some areas. It was AWESOME!

It hasn't let up for hours, and even then. The creeks round here are so full, I'm sure the other side of town is flooding. We're on the side where the creeks more or less start. We looked down into some gutters and the water was almost to the top only a foot or so.

Tonight is gonna be interesting.
