So.. interesting thing happened to me the other day.... I got drafted by a manager to backup cashier since I was wandering around near the registers.. as I sometimes do... and so I did so... and the first lady I helped walks up... and makes a pen gesture... so I had her one.. figuring she planned to write a check... then I realize... no... she plans to write a note... She's deaf! or Mute.... or both... Needless to say.. it was interesting... I had no issue communicating with her at all really.. she wrote a note that put everything that followed in context... and with just simple gestures and stuff we could communicate enough to do her returns and then have her buy something else... it was very interesting... Nice lady...
I think I may desire to learn some sign language...
The ladies are getting along.. I am pleased... I hear a squeak now and again... but I think it's all working out.... No bloodshed.
Endeavor Inconvenient Kangaroo, took an interesting turn last night and today... I think I had another qualifier on that endeavor name... Not Extended.. maybe it was.... hmm.. no clue.. oh well...
I got flirted with at work again last night... these two girls came in... needing help.. I tried to help them with fixing up a filter.. but not knowing what kind it was.. wasn't able to do much... so they came back later with it in a bag.. ancient thing... I took one look at it and was like... err..... you proly want a new one... then they handed me other parts and were like.. we got no clue.. but I did.. and explained... It was interesting.. when they came back I was near.. but not in sight.. then suddenly I hear someone calling my name... and was like... "who calls me?" and was confused cause I didn't know the voice...
"Where are you?"
"I'm behind you..." It was funny...
Then when I finished helping them for the evening.. they were like.. "So, if we come in again can we have you help us.." or something to that affect... now playing the obtuse male role.. I played innocent.. "Yeah, proly, if it's in the evening in the next few days I'm sure to be around.... somewhere.."
Second time I've had girls say they wanted me to help them when they came in again... I wonder if they'll be in today...
I find this all very amusing.. considering...
