My Girl
We got our assignments for Yearbook. I'm working with Cassi who is the only junior on Yearbook. But it's all good cuz she's pretty awesome. Dayna, Mel, and I all seem to be split up. Cassi and I are in charge of the Junior section... which is hard for me cuz well, I'm a senior and the juniors hate me. But I have Cassi to help me since she is an actual part of the class even if she hates them. I am also in charge of all photography which makes me really happy. I get to use 2 computers. I need one just for photography so I get a newer one with a bigger hard drive. On one computer, I'm next to Mel's group and on the other, I'm next to Dayna. So it's all good. I quite enjoy rolling across the room from computer to computer.
Father Daughter Dance was on Friday. It was surprisingly way more fun than I could have ever expected. I think all dances should be like that. You don't have to worry about your date ditching you or hooking up with someone else. And you don't have to worry about embarrassing yourself on the dance floor. You can definitely bust out those moves you thought could only be done in front of your bedroom mirror. They played lots of oldies which everyone knew... and new ones which allowed the girls to teach the dads how to Soulja Boy and Lean like a Cholo.
