received a note from a teacher in my mailbox. the message was written first in Norwegian and then in English. I made a joke to my friend, saying "that's sweet of him to write it in Norwegian as well just in case I don't read English". not more than a minute later I saw several other copies resting on top of the mailboxes and it dawned on me; these were printed out for everyone, those who read Norwegian and those who read English. this is a direct comparison to the way I must not perceive the world, as in only there for myself
