(no subject)
so here's how it goes. i dunno if i needed to blow off steam last night because of my job and the shitty clients there, i dunno if it was because i chugged a 40 at home then drank two strong jack and cokes at the bar, or maybe it's because my boddy is craving nicotine from not smoking... but last night i was about to bus' heads. i critisized how boring the music being played was. dance rock is boring. the bass lines are monotonous and repetative and sound like someone who just learned to play bass three months ago. and dont get me started on the boring drum machine shit. bass, snare, bass, bass, snare, repeat. when jess told me to stop bitching, i told her that i was justified because i make music. i make music that i want to hear. i just dont sit on my ass and complain.
so i couldnt stand there waiting to see autolux, a band i dont even care about, in a sea of people that kept bumping me to get closer to the stage. i ditched jess and her friends and went to the back with ryan and mahina. this kid... when i say kid... i mean he was growing a beard so maybe he was about 21 or 22, but he acted like a kid... made some kind of diamond hand sign and shoved it in my face yelling something at the top of his lungs. i turned back to him and very unlike myself said, "keep your hands out of my fucking face." he said sorry and sulked off to his boys. we went outside to the smoking section (no, i didnt smoke). ryan said "i wish that kid would have done that diamond thing to you again so i could see you put your fist through that diamond into his face." he also said that the guy went back to his boys and started talking shit. i was kinda pissed because i talked shit straight to his face... yet he says sorry and then talks shit behind my back. if i had gone back in i probably would have dragged him outside and kicked his ass, but i just left with andrew.
i talked to jess todday and she said that she kept getting pushed by idiots jumping around... so she pushed a guy back and he hit her. she said it felt like he punched her. popscene is shit. and im never being dragged there again.
