moving on from pat morita.... last night we went and had sushi in the mission with derek kirk kim and jason shiga along with andrew farago, the currator of the cartoon art museum, and his wife or girlfriend or something, whose name escapes me at the moment. after that we went to muddy waters cafe and drank coffee and talked a while. jason has this amazing new book that's 500 pages long... AND IT'S FUCKING CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!!! not only that, but you have to make a decision on EVERY page AND there's only one way to not get shot. the guy's a genius. jason seemed very interested in my new concept for autobio comics... which i will not divulge on LJ. we swapped numbers and hopefully ill get to hang out with cartoonists again.
