You've all gotten the emails that tell you to boycott gas for a day. So everyone fills up the day before, or they'll wait until the day after to fill up. Doing it that way isn't going to work.
I have an idea that can work.....
Everyone needs to pick one company. We'll use Exxon as the example. Everyone quits going to Exxon, not just for one day, but everyday. After several days of this, Exxon will lose so much money, they will be FORCED to lower their price to attract buyers. Then, everyone switches over to Exxon only, and all the others will be FORCED to match Exxon's lower price.
If prices creep back up again, everyone starts it over again. This will put the power in the hands of you & I, the consumer.....
The key word here is EVERYONE. EVERYONE has to be on the same page, & boycott ONE COMPANY ONLY. Since Exxon is the most well-known company, they're the best one go after. So get everyone you know to stop buying Exxon gas. Not just for one day, but EVERYDAY, & STICK TO IT, & see if we can force them to lower their price.
(If anyone wants to copy-paste this & email it, PLEASE DO. There can be no change without trying.....)

Another thing that has me pissed.....I heard on the news this morning that search & rescue operations have stopped...to target looters. I think that sucks. Search & rescue should be the TOP PRIORITY, until a resonable time that there wouldn't be anymore survivors. Let's not worry about people, let's worry about possessions, & things.....then all of the price-gouging & what-not, in people's time of need.
nurbist, if you're down there, I hope things are OK bro. And everyone else too. My thoughts & prayers.....
