before i restart this entry i'll point out i still dont know wat happened last nite at the end.
ok but nvrmind that jus now, cos my card had jus bn swallowed but the bank machine jus before i was bout to get on the megabus to glasgow (this was still wednesday). thankfully jason sorted me out with £100 the nxt day. anyway that night went out with ralph an met up with some of his collage people. was a 'mega' laugh lol! then we came back here an tried to watch napoleon dynamite but i was too tired an jus fell asleep, i'll watch it later though cos its supposed to be really good. next day... hmm wtf did i do all day.. ah yea it was kinda a short one lol, went with ralph to meet his mate mike to pick up his sculptures for collage then went to the ichi ban for lunch (amazing btw) then sat in a pub called waxy o'connors until it was time to meet jason. so we went with him an his brother to the euro hostel, jason gave me some cash (thank fu*k) and then jus waited till bout 6 an i was off to join the q!
the gig: just as i arrived curry was right at thr front of the q cos he had bn ther for bout 4 hrs, i have no idea how he managed that. walking down i didnt c any1 else for a wee bit so jus joined at the end an phoned jason, bout a min later here comes this really hot girl walkin down the street with 2 guys and just as i thought that to myself COLIN BLACK turns out to be her bf! an the other guy is doss royal (ross doyal is his real name but we jus call him doss tis better) and they join the q with me a few mins later jason an willie arrive, few mins after that marshy an his bros walk past (never cn him again the whole night which was disapointing but ah well i'll c u some other time) then it was time to go in!
jus as i got in went to get some megamerch cos ive wanted some for years now so got me the wristbands, a long sleeve t and a short sleeve t (also got me a really good bootleg one outside for a tenner). chatted with jason an willie for a while had a pint then i said rite im off to c who else i can find i'll be back. walk downstairs to the main area bit an jus as i do that fu*king DIAMOND HEAD open up. Now this has to be said, i was ther to c megadeth diamond head were jus a bonus however they blew me away. exceptionally good they wer, not a bad f*cking song in their set an i think im gna get their new album wen i get the chance. so yes diamond head = rawks!!!!!one!!million!!
waited rougly twenty mins after diamond head had finished up an the lights went down for megadeth...
if u remember the list of songs i had up on an entry bout all the songs i wanted to hear, well i got them!!! infact i still cant make my mind up, wer they better than iron maiden? still not too sure on that but it just shows how good a time i had, however i got my digicam nicked from me by the security guards wen i was down front!! (met curry right at the front aswell was cool as) i guess they dont like me taking vids, i got told off at maiden for using that thing aswell but i was only asked not to take videos. anyway i'll get the set list they played an put it up here or someone else will i dont know. so the gig went almost without hitch lol. and after they went off it took them a while to come back out again lol for a wee bit i didnt think they wer going to! but they came out an played holy wars (shwing!) and i jumped in the slam pit, was in ther for bout 15 secs an decided id had enough jus as i stop to come out some guy nails me in the side of the stomach, thinking nothin of it i went back into the crowd an i jus knew i was gna be sick. thankfully not much came out an i had plenty of room in front of me so i wasnt sick on any1 i think all i brought up was the swig of beer curry gave me prior to jumpin in the pit lol. ah so they only played holy wars for their encore but they had gone through so many classics an the best songs off the new album so i wasnt bout to complain lol!
After the gig had finshed went around lookin for picks... lucky me.. i found 3 (gave one to curry though)!! and then i had to get my camera back. this part i found very hard to believe, some guy was claiming that my camera belonged to him. but after a wee bit of descrepancy i proved it was mine by the make of battery inside it an after a wee look i noticed they hadnt deleted my videos an pics neither!! shame i didnt get many before they took it from me, i think i actually got more diamond head footage than anything else lol.
so wen i finally got outside met up with curry, james, snore and dunc. ther wer few other guys who i hadnt cn before but watever. so we waited for annabelle to get over in a taxi. ther wer lots of things people needed to do etc so every1 got a taxi back to ah sh*t i forget her name bar me an annabelle. so we quickly ran back here so i could get changed an try not to stink as much from the concert lol! after that we went to 'the garage'. now why she thought this club was so great i'll never f*cking know. the third floor i was informed played rock, fair enough. went ther an it was wat the mardi gras would class as rock playing. in other words they played the strokes (why why omg why) franz ferdinand who i dont mind that much but i thought it was rock :( however they played the rolling stones 'paint it black' and that kinda made my night. also black after shock is the sh*t it really is a nice drink! anyway dispite the music i still tried to have a good time since it was a night out and i was in v good spirits! not long after we got ther snore arrived, nobody else. i think every1 else he was with went to the qm2 or qm or somethin like that, tis a union anyway. we wer ther for bout an hr or so but i wont get into wat happened next cos the whole thing left me confused and james never did txt me so i'll never found out how he got on. anyway got subway then came back to ralphs and snore jumped in a taxi. and thats it really. still waiting to see wat happens today but fu*ks knows.
