Levels of Shipping: Defcon 0
You Don’t Ship It (But You Kind Of Actually Do) [but you'd probably be outraged if TPTB really tried to put these people together]
Funnily enough, these are all from The Vampire Diaries, and the truth is I actually have this feeling repeatedly with one character, so it's obviously the actress having all kinds of inappropriate chemistry with various actors. [For the record, my ultimate Bonnie ship is with Matt Donovan, the "I'll Never Get This Ship Unless I Write It Myself" Ship.]
I'm gonna put these all at about equal levels--and I just can't really decide between them (I'm not posting a pic of Bonnie/Professor Shane, but it was there, too). {Other official disclaimer: I've seen lots of people on tumblr try to equate Damon with Kai (!!!!) and Damon with Klaus of course, but let me just say up front, if you can't see the difference between them, I'm not the person to *discuss* it with; I will only get irate and we'll end up in a fight. If you don't see the difference, I CAN'T HELP YOU.}
Bonnie & Kai
Kai is the greatest villain that TVD has ever had, period. But he is a villain. He is charming, charismatic and there for half a second, he adopted some human feelings, but he's a SOCIOPATH. Straight up. He's not a vampire with a humanity switch, heightened emotions or anything of the sort. He's a "witch" (and not even a good one, he's like a squib from Harry Potter) who tried to murder his entire family.
But, damn, his scenes with Bonnie were smokin'. All the same, Bonnie needs a match of her caliber, not just someone who she lights up the screen with.
Caroline & Klaus
THIS FOOL'S FACE:
I can never forgive Klaus for Aunt Jenna. I just can't. I'm never, ever, ever getting over it. And then Carol Lockwood. Nope, can't do it. And besides I've shipped Caroline with Stefan since S2 and that's where my true loyalty lies. But their chemistry is undeniable.
Bonnie & Damon:
So, obviously, this interferes with my OTP, and I can never really believe that Damon Salvatore will ever love anyone but Elena Gilbert, but watching Damon and Bonnie snipe at each other for hours on end is super enjoyable to me. Additionally I've been following this FIC for years in the hope that the author will actually finish it about Bonnie traveling back to 1864 and meeting a human!Damon. It's set during early S2, and Bonnie has just come back to *present time* where she is in love with 1864!Damon but present Damon has no recollection of her...and and and. I just really want to find out how it ends. But yeah any post-season five Bonnie/Damon romantic stuff is offensive to me, like to the highest degree.
