I know I've been very ranty this week due to my heart being ripped out, but I should clarify that one of my ships did get married this season, and that was Castle&Beckett on Castle. I would be sorely remiss not to mention them as their wedding was so lovely and long anticipated and very worth it.
My glass has been half-empty all week, so it's nice to remember a half-full entity.

I'm very monogamous when it comes to fic writing--simply because I need to focus if I'm ever going to finish a fic. So, I have one more chapter on a RPF WIP I've got, and I have these S5 fix-it fics in my head for The Walking Dead that I'll probably never write simply because too much time has passed now. I have the beginnings of a plot for an Elena Gilbert tribute piece forming and I plan to really develop that, but since it's just at the beginning stage, I have no firm grasp of anything. Ideas are always welcome :D

Dialogue. I love dialogue, and I love to invent dialogue that I believe my favorite characters would say. Some of my favorite things I've ever written have been the items that reviewers have said, "I could so hear Character A say that!" Best compliment ever.

Details. I tend to be a "big event" writer....meaning, I just want to get to whatever the point of the story is. The build-up to that event often bores me and makes it hard for me to properly get all the stuff in there I need to make the EVENT seem as big as I want it to. Betas are good for me in this context, because sometimes all the stuff is in my head and I just don't take the time to get it all out. A good beta will ask a question of clarification and I can insert details that make the piece better without bogging myself down in creating all the "pre" stuff. I'm a super impatient writer.
