Ugh, LJ is screwing with me, so who knows when I'll ever be able to post again!
So, I'm getting to the *GLEE* stage with Arrow.
As in, I'm starting to hate more than I like about it.
It's very sad.
I posted this on tumblr last night because LJ wouldn't let me on:
You know, I loved S1 and S2 of Arrow. And I love Olicity, that’s what I’m here for. But I feel like this season’s CLUNKY WRITING is destroying everything. There is no subtlety. There is all this exposition and Diggle running around explaining everything. I love that Digg ships them, but seriously, we don’t need him to explain everything we already know. I just want to go back to S2 where there was subtext and ACTING going on. There’s nothing these poor actors can do when the writing is so shitty.
I'll add here now having slept on the whole thing: the other thing that bothered me SO MUCH is having Oliver see Ray and Felicity kissing. Is this Days of Our Lives? It was just so...MEH. The whole season has been MEH. At least for me. We are seven episodes in and I barely care about ANYTHING happening in the episode, even though I WANT TO CARE.
I'm going to watch the crossover episodes with The Flash and reevaluate at that point, but I may just have to stop watching and pick this back up when I can watch the whole season. If even that can make me care, I don't even know.
