Whether it's just our OTP connectedness or what, your thoughts on these chapters always make me certain I've conveyed what I was trying to convey. Thanks so much for taking the time to tell me.

Because if this phrase how it changes everything without really changing anything is exactly what it is; Beth isn't magically healed from her traumas because she sees Daryl again, but yet, she's somehow magically healed from her traumas because seeing Daryl again showed her what she believed all along. It's a reward of faith and hope, and it's such an intangible thing that I want people to feel! You're amazing at showing me I did that. *kisses*

Okay, so I'm slowly making my way through these today, and...how spoiled were you for this season?? It's eerie how well you predicted some of these things...(I've been thinking about it, and now I think that Carol and Beth are going to end up together for a while, separated from Daryl.)

*Sidenote, but every time I put Carol and Daryl in one sentence, the sing-song-y-ness of their names makes me sort of giggle.

And Gabriel? Did you know about him??

And the way she runs at him, and they just cling to one another? So much the way he reunited with Carol. (I can't wait to see HOW they reunite, if he just pounces on her, like that, or if there's more...awkwardness. I literally can't wait to see it.)

I had read some speculation that Beth would meet up with Father Gabriel somewhere, and I decided to take it elsewhere. Not make him a bad or questionable character, but also make him a Baptist preacher because they are in the freaking south. It annoys me how everyone on television is Catholic when that is not the case. America has a lot of other Christian religions, and depending on your region, it's much more likely to be a certain one. So that was really my thought process, because I wanted Beth to have a spiritual leader

Now you have me really anxious about their reunion. You've said that you think they're going to get ::thisclose::...like do you think they'll SEE each other?? Humor me.

Isn't Gabriel? He looks like a Catholic priest to me? Am I missing something?

Also, I remember during S2 when they found the first church, there was a crucifix in it. Definitely Catholic, then. Maybe I just assumed something incorrectly?

I just imagine Daryl sees her...like maybe she doesn't see him, but I definitely think he sees her.
