I. Top Five Stories by Hits
1. Empty Handed -- 4087. The Walking Dead, Daryl/Beth, post-S4. This is a completed multi-chapter story, so the volume of hits could be accounted for that way. BUT it's only a five-chapter story whose first chapter was posted on April 3rd OF THIS YEAR. And I have many more multi-chapter TVD fics with WAY LESS hits. WAY LESS. CONSIDERABLY LESS HITS, PEEPS. And just to keep perspective, there were 59 subscriptions to it, so people didn't have to come back to check it, they could just wait for a notification of an update.
2. flay you alive (over and over) -- 1958. The Vampire Diaries, Damon/Elena, post-4x08. I'm still mildly surprised this is my most read TVD fic, honestly. It's so dark, maybe? Like, I guess if you like tormented Damon, it's the best one for that, but still surprising to me. I have so many that I personally like a LOT more.
3. Blue Jean Beauty Queen -- 1958. The Walking Dead, Daryl/Beth, post-4x10. This was my first ever Bethyl fic, written for a fic-a-thon and then posted a few days (end of February this year) later at AO3.
4. Size Matters -- 1921. The Vampire Diaries, Damon/Elena, post-4x06. This is definitely one of my favorite faves of all time, so I'm glad it has a lot of love.
5. i will tell you secrets God only knows -- 1907. The Vampire Diaries, Damon/Elena, post 4x07. This was when I loved writing sexy_tiems even with the sirebond. Apparently it doesn't bother too many people, ;-)
