Daryl's the intense one; it's easy to get into that space with him--or rather, once I get there with him, it's easy to let him take over. It's not always easy to get into that glass half-empty place. He's trying real hard to let the hope Beth sparked in him bloom, but it's not easy for him, so it's not easy to be there while he's struggling.

Okay, I don't think I made any sense with what I just said. Daryl's challenging, is the point, I guess. :D

Loved this chapter. So happy Daryl gets something good for a change but curious to see how Daryl will do in this new world with Beth.
