Question.....about this song.

For any of you who regularly read my fic, you know I love to use song lyrics as inspiration and often as titles for fics. I have decided I want to post-episode fic the sexy morning after sex scene, and so I went to get the lyrics of "Eyes On Fire" for inspiration...

I know this song, because the best thing about Twilight is the soundtrack, but now I'm sort of confused. Thinking of how the TVD writers usually use song lyrics to further their stories, I'm curious what you think about these lyrics in association with that scene:
