I love how you draw the parallel to the return. I hadn't picked that up, especially with her killing Jeremy at the beginning.

I really enjoyed the fact that finally Elena was calling Stefan out on all the bullshit that he's been up to in the past. I totally agree with you that there's clearly a whole heap of emotion that she's been supressing and she just can't do it any more. I really hope that this is the route that they choose to follow, and not just another bump in the road of Stefan and Elena. Fingers crossed!
