I loved all the references to Damon's caring about cleanliness and the house and stuff like that. It always cracks me up on the show when he talks about the rugs and stuff. And then it showed him putting a bucket under the sink in the last episode after cleaning up for Elena again.

I always felt like Jeremy preferred Damon over Stefan. Damon always gets stuff done while Stefan tries to figure stuff out. I love how Jeremy wants to be "badass" and Damon tells him he'll get there but he has to earn it - so great. Kind of makes me think back when Damon called himself and Alaric team badass.

I totally ship Damon/housekeeping. It's truly adorable, and such an interesting little personality trait.

We often forget that the night before Damon killed Jeremy, he came to him and told him about Anna, and they had a real heart-to-heart. So yeah, I think Jeremy has always felt more connected to Damon, though for a time he might have been somewhat scared of him. I really enjoy their dynamic and wish there was more of them on-screen!
