Head on over to het_reccers to vote. Damon and Elena are in the ninth group, and are currently losing to Steve Rogers/Darcy Lewis from the Avengers universe. Now, while I love the Avengers universe, these two characters have not even MET onscreen, so Damon and Elena can't lose to them! GO VOTE!

irony_rocks, the main mod, is a big Damon/Bonnie fan. So yeah, not so much. But come on, they can't lose to two characters who have never even met! That's just wrong!

She wrote this epic D/B story where Damon became human. It was actually quite good. Sometimes I can ship them, too, but apparently there is some interaction between the two characters in the books, so some people have love for them that stems from that. Having never read the books (and not ever planning to), I don't know. But I think Kat and Ian have good chemistry, it's just, you know, Nina and Ian. Like, times a million + infinity....

After 3x22, I'm weirdly fascinated by Damon and Bonnie, but I'm more inclined to go into platonic interactions. From what I know, Damon/Bonnie is book canon, so no wonder people who come from the book fandom ship Damon/Bonnie :).

Well, I heard that Damon/Bonnie bookverse is not as big a deal as some people make it out to be, but it's all secondhand info, so don't quote me. I can understand why people ship show!D/B because Ian has chemistry with everyone who moves. And it's obvious they love each other in real life. Did you see her intro about him at the EMAs? She was gushing. So cute.

For the record, I ship Bonnie with Jeremy! :D

I didn't see Kat's intro about Ian :). I don't really watch interviews and stuff like that? They don't randomly show on my TV (I don't even have a TV now), and I don't actively seek them out online, because I have tons of other stuff to do. So the only interviews I watch are DVD extras. With which I'm a season behind :).

ETA: I sort of ship Bonnie/Jeremy myself :).

I posted the intro and his acceptance speech at nina_ian. It wasn't televised, only live-streamed, I believe. It was for an environmental award, it wasn't a traditional interview or awards show, which is what made it interesting to me. No biggie.

I really hope there is more Jeremy/Bonnie in the future. I don't want Jamie around at all. Blerg.
