Love how you wrapped up these three stories. This one had some if the best lines because you infused the story with do much truth. I was cheering at this statement because Stefan really does deserve so misrepresentation from Elena; "Does it matter if she's not completely forthcoming with Stefan? Probably not. She owes him one or two or twenty lies.". After all if Stefan's lies and "for your own protection" omissions I would love to see Elena keeping him in the dark.

I loved the Jeremy / Elena conversation because that is what her brother (and friends) should say. Bottom line is "I'd pick Damon over Stefan. I mean, Stefan let you die. I can't really say I'll ever get over that." you can't fault his logic and I will be even more disgusted and disappointed in the show if someone doesn't make this observation.

Thanks for sharing.

I would be in fangirl heaven if ever there was some sort of acknowledgment of Stefan's lies. \o/ For now, we have fic...

I'm glad you loved the Jer/Elena part because that was definitely the scene I wanted to get the dialogue just right.

Thanks for commenting!

Stefan doesn't know that's why, he thinks she just wants to work on her relationship with Jeremy, and it's not that that's untrue, it's just...well. Does it matter if she's not completely forthcoming with Stefan? Probably not. She owes him one or two or twenty lies.

Love that! And so true, too.

(Of course not. She's jealous because he'll undoubtedly take Meredith home and fuck her brains out. Not necessarily on Stefan's car.)

Because he's Damon. Hee! I love love love how she gets jealous of Meredith and the whole scene with Matt.

Every time it happened, though, Elena felt better. Not worse. Not guilty. Not ashamed. Each time she pressed her mouth to his, or drew her tongue over his collarbone, or opened her legs to his fingers, his mouth, or his cock, she felt anchored. She felt secure. She felt...alive.

There's so much to love about this, and also, fucking hot.

"I don't want to talk about it?" he asks, the incredulity in his voice so convincing that for two or three seconds Elena thinks maybe she got it wrong somehow. "What ( ... )

AND!

Damon going out to his car after sexytimes to find that she'd TPd HIS car! Although, maybe Stefan and Caroline did that? WHO CARES!

Oh, I'm glad you liked it so much--you picked some of my favorite parts, for sure.

And yes, Elena is the one who did Damon's car--I can't decide if she got Caroline to help her while Stefan and Damon were having their heart to heart or if she waited until Damon fell asleep and then she snuck out to do it, but either way, she was pranking someone's car that night! LOL.

Oops. I completely assumed it was Stefan.

This was a lovely trio of stories.

OK, AMAZING.

First of all, Siken *hearts* and a brilliantly chosen quote from the Litany for this part of the story.

Does it matter if she's not completely forthcoming with Stefan? Probably not. She owes him one or two or twenty lies.
While I never approve of lies in any kinds of relationship, this is brilliant in its own way, it's sort of like Elena claiming back and winning for herself all those times he had lied to her before, supposedly for her own safety. I LOVE IT. Season 3 was a lot about knocking Stefan off the pedestal he placed himself on, and this is an excellent continuation of that.

There is this sort-of light between them, a softness in each of their faces that reminds Elena...of the way Damon looks at her. Of the way Stefan used to look at her. Of the fact that he doesn't look like that anymore and he'd seemed somewhat relieved as she packed up her things to go back home.Oh *hearts ( ... )

That poem is AMAZING. So much great stuff in it, and it all feels like Damon and Elena. It's CRAZEE!

Yeah, I love that Damon's dart game went to hell the first time he's in public with Elena after their relationship changed. So cute.

I have a weird unexplainable love for people answering the phone without a greeting and just going straight into the conversation so this is great for me in a weird fetish sort of way :D
I love this too, and it seems so like what Damon would do.

He is such a teenage girl sometimes, it's beautiful :D
Damon will always be the girl in his relationships! :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I KNOW RIGHT IT'S ALL SOOOO DAMON AND ELENA, and nothing will ever say more about Damon than Love, for you,
is larger than the usual romantic love. It’s like a religion. It’s
terrifying.

IT does seem like something Damon would do and it just serves to demonstrate the level of comfort those two have with each other <3

I very much enjoyed it :)

NEVER STOP WRITING DAMON/ELENA :D

A stirring conclusion! How is it you so flawlessly write fluff and the drama?

"I'm not sorry, either," she says, and that's it. That's the thing that's been holding her down, the whole time. The idea that if she does this, she owes everyone a great big apology.

This is fabulous. Because as someone already pointed out why should Elena have to apologize for who she loves? No one else is offering up apologies for their feelings.

Elena and Jeremy are two of my favorite siblings, and I do hope that fact that Stefan let Elena die gets mentioned and addressed.

An excellent conclusion. Thank you.

It's just Damon and Elena....they are effortless for me, and I have no clue why.

No one else is offering up apologies for their feelings.
IKR? Poor Elena. It's OKAY TO LOVE DAMON!

Glad you liked it!

I like that you kept Meredith and Damon as just friends, and how Damon explained that to Elena was nice too. And I like that Elena just ... accepted it. Stopped fighting and just surrendered to the inevitable, LOL!

I also fangirl so hard over any Jeremy is pro-Damon stuff! WHEE!!!

Lovely trilogy here. :)

Damon and Meredith: BFFs! I hope, anyway!

I'm glad you liked it. I loved Elena's heightened emotions...she's more interesting now, and it will be a trip to see what she goes through next season.
