Three Fic Recs
So, you all know I love lit_chick08's writing liek whoa because I've recced her before. But honestly: read her fic. It will take you to a happy place!
1) The Truth of Who We Are is a Stefan/Caroline fic that is PURE GENIUS. If only, IF ONLY!
2) Drown in the Moment with Me is a Damon/Elena fic written from my begging prompt of David Cook's "Fade into Me" and Meg just crafted this delightful DE fic that will warm your heart and make it swell three times its normal size, I promise!
3) Second Verse, Same as the First is a lovely NOVEL by irony_rocks. (Seriously, it's 150k words, which is 3x as long as my Big_Fang, which I thought was ridiculously long.) The other interesting thing about this fic? It's a Damon/Bonnie pairing. And yeah, I'm not really into that (even if I'm currently writing a fic that flirts with the idea), but this story is just so well done--I mean, I only read it because I know irony_rocks from het_reccers and she was writing something for a fandom I belonged to, so I gave it a gander. And then it was really, really good. Just give it a try.
