I think the part that made ME sick was Renesme's middle name. First of all, nobody spells "Carly" like that. WTF? Second of all, I hate that she has my name at all, and third of all, the whole baby half-vamp thing had to be the STUPIDEST thing ever. Like what the hell? I get that the woman was writing a "thinly veiled" book about teen abstinence (defy my logic on this one, I dare you) before marriage, but SERIOUSLY? The very idea that the whole thing ends with a TEENAGER getting married and having babies right out of high school and that's her whole life...this isn't the 1950s people.

Oh, and joy of joys this comes out the day after my birthday. Like it wasn't annoying enough that there were tweeny-boppers everywere while they were filming some of the scenes not far from where my mother-in-law lives, now I'll have to deal with the "OMG Edward's sooooooo dreamy" insanity the same day that I had planned on tending to a killer hangover, after drinking enough margaritas to forget I'm that much closer to 30. Way to ruin my birthday, BD :(

Oh, and RPatz is still not that hot. I prefer Taylor...even though he's jailbait ;)

Also, I think they exaggerated too much with the bed breaking b/c it's amusing in a not-sexy-more-hysterical kind of way. :p

Oh, there are so many things about BD in particular that make me sick, and the baby's name is rather lower on the list, but I suppose if my name were involved I'd feel as strongly as you do about it.

The worst part for me is EDWARD ASKING JACOB TO CONVINCE BELLA TO GET RID OF THE DEMON BABY BY PROMISING THAT HE WILL GIVE HER WOLF BABY TO REPLACE IT. Yes, Edward pimps his WIFE out, assuming Jake can talk her into an abortion. OMG, kill me now.

And I so agree about TLaut--though he's 19 now, so he's totally not jailbait anymore. And I say that as someone who is technically old enough to be his mother....don't look at me with those judgy little eyes....

Yeah, Edward pimping out Bella was just SICK. Seriously, I don't know what the hell is wrong with this woman, but that was just NOT okay. When I read that...there are just no words. Oh, and the whole Jake imprinting on Renesme thing also rates very high on my ick-meter. Seriously, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH SM, AND HOW CAN SHE THINK ANY OF THAT IS OKAY????? Not only that, but what the hell is wrong with that publishing company to even allow a book like that to exist, let alone promote it to teenagers?

I'm kind of hoping that they edit that stuff OUT of the movie, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

They don't cut the Jake/Demon Baby stuff, because I've already read article about KStew being sorry for TLaut because he has to fall in love with a baby. So yeah, they're leaving it in.

But believe you me, my rage about SMeyer is greater than yours because I'm a Mormon. It infuriates me on so many levels because I really hate the idea that so many people think her religion influenced this travesty of a story. I'd say all her issues on hers on her own and I don't give her any credit at all at being able to tell a morality tale in the middle of all that garbage. Ugh. It makes me so angry, you don't even know.

And word on promoting to teenagers! Blerg.
