I thoroughly enjoyed them in this episode. I didn't full-blown ship them until 1x19, though, I think when I went from "hey, they have great chemistry" to "omg, I want them to be a couple on my tv". One of the reasons MMF will always have a special place in my heart.

I sort of shipped them before that, but it was more wishful thinking than anything else (b/c Damon is HOT). I really fell in love with them as a couple when this episode aired though!

Right, i much preferred Damon, but it wasn't until later that I started to really think it could happen (Miss Mystic Falls).

I'm pretty sure my shipper moment came later. They did start drawing my attention away from SE in this episode, though.
