Thanks for the virtual gifts, the PM's, the goodies in this post (which is still open to more goodies, should anyone still like to contribute!), and the good wishes (both here and over on Facebook). I appreciate all of them! You all are the BEST.
I'm still not getting all my LJ notifications in a timely matter, so if you haven't heard from me, I'm trying to do the round up, so I'll get there eventually!
We watched Garden State last night, and for the first time ever I found Zach Braff attractive. I thought it was a great film. Very well done, except for the ending, of course. I think he should have left--the guy was just finally getting his head on straight. He could have come back in six months and been ready then. It was just such a hook-you-into-thinking-it-was-gonna-be-realistic and then BAM, oh, no, you're watching a movie.
We also saw The Adjustment Bureau on Saturday night. Not so good. Unfortunately, because Matt Damon and Emily Blunt had great chemistry. The movie was just, less than their talent, I feel.
For my actual birthday, tonight, my sister is coming over to watch Wake because she hasn't seen it, and she MUST see it!
