You should totally be able to rec yourself over there because Happiness Is should be on that list, jsyk.
I've been trying to figure out who I want to do. That sounds kind of dirty, which is appropriate for this post, I guess. I thought about Caroline, but there is only a handful of fics I think are really good.
The rules over there are that you can't rec yourself, which I found out when I did my Linc/Sara shipper manifesto--and I agree it's stupid. I have like 25 recs for that and four of them were myself--and some of them were things I wrote with other people.
On the other hand, the story you speak of has been recced over there by other people, so it would be redundant anyway. I would rather have recced my PQ future!fic, but alas.
I agree with you that there's just starting to be really good fic about Caroline. Really, with TVD, even though it's the same age as Glee, the fic is more sparse. But I think that's in contrast with the show being so good, unlike Glee. :P
El Puckerone Appreciation props!! He and Kurt have always been/are (hands down) my two favorite male characters from Glee <3
ITA with you when you say that much of the fandom love for him comes from fic. I personally only really started to love him after reading fics that explored his "daddy issues," his relationship with his mother and his little sister, as well as the deeper aspects of his relationships with Quinn, Rachel, and Santana (the show has succeeded in completely butchering him and Quinn so I rely very heavily on fic where they're concerned *sad face*).
On a slightly more depressing note, Glee's back with the Superbowl special tomorrow and I'm not nearly as excited as I should be for the return of one of my favorite shows =( uggghh why season 2, why?!?!
