It's not the whole episode, but the Stefan/Kat Tomb of Fail! profoundly pisses me off, and relates to yesterday's prompt of a
scene that makes me angry which also involves Stefan and Katherine.
Episode 2x11 "By the Light of the Moon"
So, let's be serious. It's not like I thought Stefan was gonna bang Katherine (though the S/K shipper in me had that tiny wedge of hope that's impossible to totally ignore), but I still don't even see the point of him being in there, at all. I feel like it served no purpose, once again, I didn't get any real sense of "conflict" within Stefan with regard to "the safest psychotic bitch in town," and for the first time I was disappointed in my show. I never posted any thoughts about the episode for just that reason. [There was much MADE OF WIN too, what with Care/Ty and Elena throwing a pillow at Damon and striking a deal with Elijah, so it's not a total loss or anything, however...] I just wanted something to happen between them down there, and I felt like they would have had the same interaction if he'd been outside the tomb.
On top of that, we got this:
The non-cliffiest cliffhanger ever. Does anyone care if Rose dies? I certainly don't know anyone who gives a rat's ass, though I appreciate her jumping in front of Damon. It was just so MEH, and considering how amazing and awesome this show normally is, and how it pains me to criticize it in any way, I was super disappointed, and still am
