The beginning was oh-so-funny, and then it got sad and a little depressing, and the finale had me smiling like a damn goof!

I hadn't really planned on there being anything with Rose. We'll see how the next chapter goes, but I sort of have this subplot basement theory that because Rose knows Damon loves Elena, there's not any emotional investment there for either of them. I mean, who did Damon go to when he had a concern? Caroline. So, you know, his and Rose's "relationship" has no merit, really. No reason to really address it in anyway, plotwise.

So I hope the conclusion will be satisfying for you, even if there's not a particular scene like that! Thanks for reading!

Ohhhh i love how many Delena fanfiction writers just seem to understand the man who lies beneath the rough exterior we love so much. We love him rough, we love him sarcastic, but we're head over heels with him tender.
