Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
More, I suppose. I did write for some fandoms outside of PB, and that surprised me.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2007?
Michael/Veronica from Prison Break, fer sher.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
I think I took lots of risks, and I’m getting more comfortable taking those risks, and just letting the characters do whatever they’re going to do without worrying about how it reflects on me personally.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
I would actually like to know the original story that I should tell. There must be one inside me somewhere!
My Best Story:
I think my favorite piece (though it is so hard to choose amongst all my children) is Five Times Lincoln Got Over Veronica. Lincoln at his angsty best. Plus Jane knocks him on his ass, which is a recurring theme in L/J fic.
Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe:
The story I just mentioned, just because I don't think that many people read L/V or L/J in general. I also really love Five Times Michael's Behavior Confounded Lincoln because I think I got the brothers just right in that one.
Most fun:
Any time I write Linc with Jane, I'm having the time of my life. But writing LJ is great fun too.
Most disappointing:
Oh, some weren't as good as others, I'm sure, but none of them really disappointed me.
Most sexy:
Sweet Misery and Pure Desperation. Michael? Who knew?
Story With a Single Sexy Moment:
I really like the love scene in Green Tea with Linc and Jane in the pool, because it's non-traditional. I know a lot of people who really liked Michael copping a feel from Sara in The Rewards of a Haircut and a Dye Job. Also, Smart Girl all on its own, since it is just a sexy moment in its entirety.
Hardest to Write:
The confrontation between Michael and Sara in I Want You, but that was before I could write Michael without a lot of difficulty.
