I'm back in school, taking a 16 week course which is designed to help unemployed europeans with getting work in the european union , but also outside the EU, and the class seems great. We'll be doing coursework in english, computer economics (which is a fancy word for "let's learn excel!", and we'll have job coordinators for the EU countries on conferences and lectures, as well as a probable shot at getting internships in Glasgow and Belfast, if everything works out perfectly.
The guy sitting next to me in class looks like Orlando Bloom.
I was sorely tempted to ask him if he knew where they had taken the hobbits.
In other news, I had a great weekend over at my brothers girlfriends parents, we were invited to a dinner and whiskey tasting. My brother had bought a 21 year old Glennfiddich, which was damned nice (and expensive! $200 usd per bottle.) and her father had us taste a 17 year old Bowmore, which was really smoky and tasted great (my favorite, in fact) as well as a 12 year Laophraig and a 10 year Glenlivet.
In all, a good weekend.
