Post End-Game, Souji convinced his parents to let him stay in Inaba for a longer period of time, as he grew very attached to the town, and everyone in it.

But that's not my prompt.

In the third year school trip, there are two to a hotel room. Of course, Souji picks Yosuke as his rooming buddy for the few days they're gone.

But there was a mix-up in the rooms, and their hotel room only has one bed.
