This is the first fluff I've written for this meme, fwa ha. Oooh, contains spoilers for the King's Game, btw.

The timid tap-tap-tapping at Souji's door woke him from his fitful nap.

"Um... big bro?"

"Yeah," he called out, still half-asleep as he tried to untangle himself from the blanket on his futon. "Uh, come on in, Nana-chan."

The door slowly creaked open, and Nanako crept inside like she still wasn't sure if she had real permission to be there or not. Tiny fingers tapped nervously against each other, and Souji dragged himself into a sitting position.

"Um... are you feeling better?"

A small smile fought the pained grimace on Souji's face and won. Always the polite little lady. "A little, yes."

"I... well, Daddy said I'm not s'posed to bother you, and I didn't want to, but, um, would it be okay if I borrowed one of your shirts real quick?"

Souji blinked away the throbbing behind his eyes. "Yeah, I guess. What do you need it for?"

"Well... you were supposed to play with me today. But then you started feeling bad, so, um, Kanji and Teddie said that-that they would play instead. But Teddie's shirt is all wrong for the daddy."

Souji almost choked. "So Kanji's the mommy?"

Nanako's eyes lit up like Christmas lights. "Yeah! I'm doing his makeup right now!" She gasped suddenly, bouncing on the tips of her toes as she danced on the imaginary line Dojima had forbade her to cross if she wanted to stay healthy. "We can make it a show! Like one of the live shows they do at Junes sometimes!" A laugh bubbled from Souji's sore throat as the seven-year-old hummed the familiar theme song, waving her fingers through the air as if she were conducting some sort of invisible jingle orchestra. "We can do the show for you, and then maybe, you can feel better! D'you wanna see, big bro, huh?"

Denying himself the opportunity to see Teddie and Kanji as a married couple would be a travesty, Souji decided.

"I'd love to."

The beginning of a joyous shriek started in Nanako's throat until she remembered her father's warning that "big bro" needed peace and quiet to get better fast. Quickly, she clapped her hands over her mouth and hopped from foot to foot.
