“Hello, Kou,” Chie mumbled. She had to get to Junes today. They all had to get into the TV...
“Where ya headed?”
The last thing she needed was Kou following her to the department store. Maybe she could walk home and just double back to Junes. It wasn't that she disliked Kou. He was actually quite cute, but she really didn't have time for him today. Couldn't he be off trying to find Daisuke a date?
“Home.”
“Ah.” The boy fell into step with her. “Mind if I walk with you?”
She sighed. “Fine.” They walked a few blocks, Kou talking non-stop about some basketball tournament or other. The street for Junes was coming, and she was itching to run away so she could jump in the TV and kick some ass. If there was one thing Chie hated, it was being kept from somewhere she wanted to be. Her glasses were burning a hole in her jacket pocket, so she took them out and started cleaning them on her shirt.
“Whoa, you have glasses?”
Oh, real smart Chie. Good job. She paused, glasses jumbled in her hand along with her bookbag. “Uh...I don't really like wearing them. They're just for reading.”
Kou was skeptical. “You...read?”
Now she was caught. “Yeah. Sometimes. You know, martial arts magazines, that sort of thing.”
She was about to put her glasses back in her jacket pocket when Kou suddenly leapt in front of her. “Would you uh...could you put them on?”
Was he a perv? Probably not more than most guys...but about glasses? Really? She knew he'd never go away if she didn't agree to it. Chie put them on nervously. “Alright?”
But she didn't get a chance to kick Kou in the nads because all of a sudden he was dragging her into a side alley and kissing her. Now she was really going to be late. “I love girls in glasses,” he muttered quickly, kissing her again. She could feel his fingers touching along the yellow frames, and Chie was just glad he was a good kisser. The glasses thing was just slightly on the creepy side.
He slid the glasses from where they rested on her nose onto the top of her head so he could kiss her more aggressively, and she decided to respond. It wasn't every day a boy she didn't really dislike made out with her, so why the hell not. He used a bit of tongue, and his hands were under her shirt quicker than she would have preferred. She could knee him if she had to, but the same hands that dribbled a basketball were now deftly palming her breasts. All of this from a pair of glasses?
Kou broke away. “I'm getting carried away.” Chie noticed that his hands were still on her breasts though. Of course. Such a guy. “I don't want your parents to worry about you.”
Oh Kou, Chie thought. If only you really knew what I did after school...
“Look, why don't you call me tonight?” Chie offered, taking his hands and pushing them away. Though initially she'd been annoyed, she didn't mind continuing later. She'd get aggression out on Shadows this afternoon, and she'd wear the glasses again for Kou if he wanted. It would be a pretty darn good day.
Kou looked happy. “Will do. See you later.” He took off down the alley, and she adjusted her clothes before heading off to Junes with a grin. Yukiko was never going to believe this.
