As the author sat in the silence of her single dorm at the university, a towering pile of case books, files, and print outs of Supreme Court decisions threatening to topple onto her unless she paid attention to them, she couldn't help but get this strange feeling in the back of her mind. Like she had forgotten something. Or someone. And it dawned on her. She was the only one who knew where Adachi went, and surely people would want to know what he was doing while all of this was going.

Well, hate to break it to you, but he wasn't doing much of anything. He was sitting in an airport lobby in Detroit, wondering why he was in Detroit when he started off in L.A. and was heading back to the Japan. Not that airports ever used any kind of logic, but really. It was right. by. the. ocean. What a waste of gas and money! And they wondered why they were always going bankrupt. It had to have a lot to do with this "fly out of headquarters" business that just wasted everyone's time. Oh, and just his luck that author decided to write this thing in February, so now he was also freezing his ass off, surrounded by moody adults, crying babies, stinky hobos, and everyone else you find at an airport when your flight was delayed 12 hours because they didn't want to just cancel it and let you go find a hotel somewhere. And she wanted sexings? Give him a break.

And that, my friends, is what Adachi was doing, all the while unawares that back home in Inaba, they would be planning a king of the world ceremony for him when he returned for ridding the world of such. Because he didn't know whether or not those meddling brats were going to save her. He kinda wondered why he was going back. Knowing the Mary-Sue, she must have told them by now that he was the culprit. They would probably be waiting at the train station with warrant in hand. Would Dojima-san be the one to arrest him? If he did, could they play sexy games in the interrogation room? Would he visit him in jail?

Did the author even know what she was writing about anymore?

apparently she doesn't, because she totally meant to say "ridding the world of such evil"

Somewhere along the line, the author got bored. Not with the story. She got to write the most random things here and it would still somehow fit into the scheme of the whole story. It was, after all, about a Mary-Sue character. What was more fitting than for the author to throw in mentions of herself in some way and decide she was going to get some sexings? Except she wasn't, but Adachi wasn't about to tell her that. How else would he be the hero of a story for once instead the rapist, murdering, bad guy. He doesn't get that actually. No, he gets the murdering bad guy thing. But...rapist? How does "I just wanted to scare her a little, who knew people could go all the way in the TV" translate into rape? He was just gonna scare her. You know, stick her head in the tv. Dub con her at best. And the Konishi skank? Well, there was no trying there. She turned him down so into the TV she went. What's all this rape business? Fricking fan girls. That's sick. So yeah, as long as the author thought she was gonna get sexings, he was gonna be a hero. So, then, what was the author bored with? Well, federal income taxation has hands down got to be one of the worst, most boring classes on the face of the earth, and if any other anonymous ever plans to go to law school, be prepared for the torture. It's more evil than Adachi. It's more twisted than Izamani. It's not the point of this little aside.

The point is...she actually made some kind of timeline for this thing instead of paying attention to when a gift had an increased basis or the same basis and what tax consequences it had. Which meant it was going to come to a close soon. Bad for the OP, but good for the OPs of other fics that she was in the middle of, but neglected because this kind of crap was so much easier to write. Because really, asking Personas about sex is serious business. Even more serious than the hot hot sex Souji is going to get from Adachi in the Junes elevator once the author learns how to write it.

And somewhere during of all this, Souji had kicked Kanji in the nads, whacked Yukiko upside the head (did he learn that from his uncle?), shown Chie how everyone was really kung-fu fighting, and pulled Naoto's hair. Yeah...it was kind of dumb, but no matter what gender illusion she was going for, she was a girl. And you don't actually HIT girls. (Chie didn't count) So he did that instead. It worked, regardless of the lame. Now, all they had to do was save Yosuke from the alluring voice of the Shadow which was drawing the poor sap in closer and closer, making him forget all about his love for Saki-senpai with her evil Sue powers. But he had run out interesting and unique ways to do it! Oh noes!

He was about to cut their losses and make a break for it, when suddenly a voice echoed through the area.

"Don't worry, Sensei! I'll save you!" And the area was overcome with a different kind of sparkling raining down from the heavens(?) as Teddie gracefully descended onto the scene. Because we all know Teddie is the Gary Stu of Persona 4.

He must be. He sparkles.

There is nothing in the world better than going to the store with money you don't have and spending it on things you don't need. Until you know, all that debt catches up with you. Then it kinda sucks. But Teddie wouldn't know a thing about that, would he? Of course not! Because he just keeps charging everything to Yosuke's credit account at Junes. What high school kid has a credit account, seriously? Don't you have to be 18 to get those? Man, times sure have changed. No wonder everyone's going into debt. They're getting credit cards while Mommy and Daddy and Yosuke are slaving to pay off all the bills. No appreciation for the value of a dollar. Or a yen. Well, 100 yen if you want to be on equal terms. I dunno. Somehow it just loses it's charm. "No appreciation for the value of a hundred yen." Yeah, it's not doing it for me.

ANYWAY! Souji and his group could cheer if they wanted too, because the author had finally stopped distracting herself with reading the oh-so-awesome rp-ing of juneslater and nowheresman and turned her attention back to this tragic tale of sparkles, mayhem, and bad guys turned heroes. Not only that, but Teddie was armed with the NUMBER ONE ENEMY of Mary Sues and their magic pens everywhere. No, it's not an eraser, dumb ass. What eraser is going to work on ink? I said they use pens, not pencils. What? Erasable pens? Have you ever tried erasing those things? You still see everything. At best, you have blue smudges of ink all over the paper.

In a way, Souji felt like it was some kind of a cheap cop out as he watched Teddie dump a bottle of white out all over the Mary Sue. And then another bottle. And another. Have you ever seen those things? They're tiny! You need 5 bottles of it just to get through your basic Track 3 English (read: Ebonics) book report. Before he thought about where Teddie got all that white out from, there was a more daunting thought on his mind. It was the only thing that plagued him as he watched the Mary Sue get erased from existence.

Where the heck was he keeping all those bottles?

Yosuke, to say the least, was pissed. Why? Because Teddie thought white out was so amazing that he had to charge 25,000 yen worth of it to his account! How was he ever going to get a motorcycle at this rate?! The author didn't want to interrupt his train of thought, but she had a theory going. Looking at how many times he gets paired off with Souji...Adachi...Chie...Kanji...Teddie... Well, he should be charging for this shit! I mean, he's obviously got a much sought after ass that everyone wants to get a piece of. He should be milking it for everything he's got!

Wow, self. Way to be a perv and take your own words out of context while you're writing. If you don't mind, Jiraiya, Icha Icha Shadows isn't going to write itself, get back to work! Oh, right.

But, of course Teddie was going to do something wrong along the way, like, stealing all of Yosuke's non-money to buy enough white out to completely fill his...whatever he filled with it. After all, he's not the hero of this story. Adachi is. I know you're probably wondering, how can he be the hero if he was only in like, 3 chapters? Well, first of all, you're wrong. You forgot about the airport chapter. He was in 4. And second of all, if he hadn't thrown the Sue in the TV in the first place, she'd never get destroyed by Souji's group. The Shadows would have done it? Oh, puh-lease. What's a horribly written semi self insert story without a gaping plot hole or two? I can't go fix that! The universe would cave in on itself or something. And third of all, there is no third of all, it just felt like one should be here. Finally, Adachi is the hero because I said so.

And while the author went off an another pointless, plotless rant, Souji and the group escaped from the TV world quickly. They had to! Because, you see...the white out was spreading. Yes, it was erasing the entire TV world. They had to get out before they disappeared with it! At the very least Souji had to. Let's not make Dojima lose anymore family, ok guys? This stone-hearted anon's heart breaks every time. He just gets so...broken...*sob*

After they had safely escaped the TV world in a way that the reader would have to come up with for themselves, the Investigation Team took a well-deserved moment of rest.

They had another plot hole to create after all.

even if i wasn't anonymous, you'd still have no clue who I am. I'm usually a fandom lurker, so my lj is all RL stuff, very boring really. I like the veil of anonymity in kink memes.

but i appreciate luv! ::hugs::

A few days later, Adachi finally arrived at the train station in Inaba. Yes, it was a few days later because the author got distracted with another game that wasn't Persona 4, but she pays for Gamefly every month, so she can't just keep holding onto it, she has to play it and send it back! Then she can play P4 again while she's waiting for the next game. That pile of homework? Why would she do that? Silly anons. She made him wait at that cold, smelly airport for days. She definitely wasn't getting sexings now.

As he stepped off the train, he kept his head down as he moved off the platform. Or he would have moved off the platform, if there wasn't a hand on his shoulder, stopping him. He looked up into the stern as usual face of Dojima. He gave a wry smile. They had saved the Mary Sue after all, and now Dojima was here to arrest him. He sighed and held up his hands for the cuffs, letting out a defeated laugh to himself. He blinked, looking up when Dojima started laughing. Seriously? He does that?

"You certainly had us running all over for a few days, but that's nothing to arrest you over. Especially not when we should be thanking you."

Thanking...him? Then that must mean...

Adachi looked over his shoulder as he heard a mass of people just off the platform chanting his name and cheering, holding banners. What was going on? Dojima didn't keep him in the dark for long, moving the hand that was resting on his shoulder AROUND his shoulder and pulling him closer.

"Souji told us what you did, saving us from that Mary-Sue. The town was so grateful, they decided that you're a hero. The mayor stepped down, and has offered his position to you. It's not quite king of the world, but all the Twitards in the USA pitched a colossal fit when they heard the news, and in order to keep World War 3 from happening, we had to settle for this."

Adachi nodded knowingly. The Twi-tards were a mass than all the armies in the world combined, and more fanatic than even the most dangerous terrorists. He could settle for mayor. Anything was better than jail after all. Still a little in shock, he looked over at the crowd. Everyone was there. It was more than he ever could have hoped for.

That author would get sexings after all. It's too bad she couldn't remember why she had 14 parts. So much for planning things out. But it was okay, because while the author was essentially done, there was a 14th part to be written, and she had a plan.

OP, why don't you write the Epilogue for us?

Adachi sat down at his fancy new computer in his swanky new mayor's office. The way he figured it, this story had to have some kind of ending, but the author was too aggravated with the kink meme at the moment to do it herself, so he would. Why was she aggravated? Because someone said they don't like Naoto, (oh noes) and a whole wank-fest started over it. He suggested that she write a fill for it herself and even offered himself up as the horrible, despicable person that would be the one to knock the beloved Naoto off the high pedestal fandom has placed her on. But, the author wasn't all that interested in giving them something new to wank over. Because you know, the internet was serious business.

Well that was all well and good, but Adachi in the meanwhile was just stuck sitting in an office, bored without directions from the author. So he decided to break free from the shackles of character-dom and write this bitch.

Adachi raised a brow as he regarded the author, looking her up and down. "Not bad. Really for a girl who sits around studying and playing video games all day, I was expecting something a little less...you." Thankfully, she was no Bella, and he wasn't about to give you guys a description. Was she gorgeous? No. But she wasn't a Kashiwagi/Hanako-esque dog either. Normal. He liked that. He walked over and placed a hand on her cheek. "I never got to thank you properly, for giving me the appreciation I deserved." He smirked a bit as the author melted under his touch. This was almost too easy. Why couldn't all girls be like this? Then he never would have gotten that bad rap as a rapist-cum-murderer. Not that he did any of that stuff, but whatever. He leaned in closer, closing the distance between their lips...

Adachi blinked a few times as he read over what he wrote. This went beyond self-insert Mary-Sue-ism. This was self-insert inside a self-insert. He wasn't going to post this crap!

Except that in his attempt to delete it, he hit a different button instead.
