None of it lasted very long; he was kind of ashamed, really. Figured he hadn't done much for her. And about the most he could manage afterwards was to spill on his shirt instead of the floor.

"Uh...why?" Maybe she just apologized on impulse. Otherwise it made no fricking sense.

"Your shirt."

Her hair was brushing against his collarbone; he reached up and started stroking it without really thinking. "S'fine."

Neither of them moved. Screw it - until he heard his mother climbing the stairs, no way was he going anywhere. Naoto grabbed his free hand in hers, entwining their fingers, palms pressed together.

"...does it bother you?" she eventually asked.

"Does what?" He felt exhausted. Still, they needed to get dressed before his Ma came up here, because there was no reasonable way to explain why he and that nice detective boy were sprawled over the living room floor.

"You...you thought I was male. Originally."

"Yeah...so?" And it was more than a 'so', because it'd confused him for a hell of a long time - but Kanji didn't see the point in making it an issue. He was whatever he was, so was she.

Naoto just nodded, and gripped his hand a little more tightly.

Not the OP, but this anon is a very very VERY happy anon too. That was amazing! To plagiarize from the anon above, FLUFF AND SMUT IN ONE, HELL YES. But yeah, your Naoto and Kanji were so cute, yet so hot at the same time!

Final note, It's really nice to see someone finally doing something with all those random dungeon convos!
