Yosuke is sure that Souji is seeing someone - a male someone - behind his back. Never mind the fact that they're not together and Yosuke totally isn't like that except when he is and that Souji would tell him if he were seeing someone. Yosuke is offended and ridiculously jealous and clearly the only way to solve this whole mess is to sneak behind Souji's back and find out who he's dating. And maybe drop some really blatant hints that make the rest of the team give him weird looks subtle hints that if Souji were that way not only would Yosuke be okay with it but he'd be willing to be Souji's boyfriend gay boyfriend gayfriend? homowhatever he'd be willing to let Souji kiss him or stick his tongue in his mouth or something. You know, whatever makes Souji happy.

Bonus points if Souji is dropping hints too but they're kind of impossible for anyone to notice because while Souji thinks they're embarrassingly obvious that's just because he's usually so private and they're really nothing more than, like, offering to make Yosuke lunch or getting him a soda or something, and he's so worried about coming off desperate that he keeps missing Yosuke's absurd efforts to confess without confessing.
