Wow...this place really is something else. I've done a lot of observing since I arrived and took notes and tried not to flip my shit...this is a mangaka's dream come true.

And I haven't been cursed yet. Wonder how long my luck will last.

It's a downer that Saiko isn't here anymore, though. Will he get ahead of me at home? Will he want to move ( Read more... )

Not necessarily. Some people read them to get a better feel for the conditions- what the trenches were like, how rations tasted, that sort of thing. Some people read them to learn about individual soldiers, too.
