boredom costs us money
well, nothing too unusual to report. i really suspect no one cares to see the things i post anymore, which gives me a sense of freedom in what i might say. of course, i guess it could be possible that people just read and don't bother to really say anything. if someone commented on my livejournal, they better have something good to say, that'd be all i ask. so my current point of interest is people and all the time they have to waste. on my free time i play video games, watch movies, sleep. you know, the usual. the rest of the idiots who like to implicate themselves in society do other things to irritate everyone. i know it's important to "be heard" and i know you are doing what you whole heartedly believe is right, but it will work just as well if you do it without everyone else knowing about it. take, for example, the terri schiavo case. very sad and very unfortunate. now, if i was bored and looking for something to do....oh wait! i think i'll go right on over to the hospital that is holding terri and spread my thoughts and protest everything that is happening. no....NO! do not take it upon yourselves to do stupid shit like that. thats why people who operate big machinery try to hit you. just don't, ok? it really is simple. i swear, people sit around at home with absolutely nothing to do and randomly pick things to protest. if you want to change something, actually DO something. don't stand around somewhere pissing people off. i guarantee it will not work.it really won't. people in this country have maybe too much freedom. i'm not complaining that i need to have something to do all the time. it's just that there's too much people with too much of everything. too much free time, too much money, too much attitude. spread it all out or conserve it. don't be irritating about it. people wonder why so many violent things have been happening all the time recently. i'll bet anything it had to do with someone getting pissed off because of something stupid that someone else did. "well, he seemed so nice. how could this happen?" puh-lease. people get shot because they do stupid shit to other people. welcome to america. the only country with the ability to retaliate against someone who pisses you off. of course you'll go to jail or something. but in most other developed countries, they have that totally under control. you don't blink differently unless they authorize it. so, my point is, don't abuse whatever freedoms you do have. abuse never got anyone anywhere. just embrace the fact that you could go stand outside and piss alot of people off for no reason at all. just know that you could get in your car and drive like a total jackass and it would be perfectly "ok" in this land. but don't actually do it.
