I'm sorry, Constable Fraser, but you will be unable to leave here.

So I have been told, ma'am. I'm still a little doubtful, but it does seem a bit strange for an entire city to stay if they don't want to.

Please, call me Lamiroir. As for this city, I have not been here terribly long myself, at least compared to some others here. It is good that you are a policeman. Not everyone here can defend themselves, and it seems quite dangerous on the streets.

It does [a grunt and a stomp, probably indicating a monster being kicked in the head. Thanks, Ray!] appear to be so, yes. But it's nothing I haven't faced before.

Are you all right? Perhaps you should find a safe area. There are apartments, and I am at a clinic which I have been told is inside of a high school.

Are there monsters such as the ones here, where you are from?

I'm perfectly alright. These beasts are nothing compared to wild caribou.

The only monsters I'm confronted with where I'm from prefer carrying guns, I'm afraid.

If you are sure. However, you should find a place to stay before long.

Ah, of course...

Perhaps that would be advisable, yes. It all depends on the available lodging, of course.

Yes, I'm afraid so.
