I was expcted to protect him. He was expected to appear on trial as a witness, and as such was the focal point of some elusive killers determined to see him dead rather than testify.

He was also wanted by several federal agents, but my duty was to deliver him personally for his trial date. But all my good intentions were marred when rogue agents got to Gerrard and attempted to silence him permanently.

I managed to... quell any urges I had, any feelings of spite, and saved the man from certain death. He met his trial date, and was put back in prison afterwards.
