I grew up in the very North of Canada. The Northwest Territories and the Yukon are some of the most harsh and unforgiving places on the planet, and at the same time, the most beautiful. I was lucky enough to see great expanses of both, in living with my grandparents, who were travelling librarians. After becoming a member of the RCMP, I saw even

Everything. From the snow and the frozen oceans and lakes, to the cities and the people who live there. I miss my culture and the very place that I am.

I'm glad someone understands what I miss about my country.

I think I might understand better than anyone else. Though it's kind of an odd thing to be missing yourself.

Like I said, I'm Canada and I miss the lands that make my existence up. So, I miss myself, which is something new.

It's a little hard to explain, but well.. I'm a physical representation of the nation of Canada might be the best way to explain it.
