This morning, C put on the Pirates of Penzance for us to watch. A had apparently liked it a lot a while back when it was on TV once at my parents house.
I tell her it is a pirate movie.
She says "Captain Jack Sparrow?"
No, not a Captain Jack Sparrow movie.
"Captain Jack Sparrow runs and hides from the bad monsters."
Yes, honey, that is mostly the plot of the latter movies.
(We recently watched the "trilogy" as it were)
