(no subject)
I guess I should give everyone some sort of update so people don't think I'm dead, although I actually feel like I'm dying right now because I have a splitting headache and Tylenol is not at all helping. This is weird too because I haven't had a headache in many months! Anyway I'm sorry I kind of just disapeared but everything has been so hectic here like usual but even worse lately. Like last week for example on top of everything else I have to do I had a concert on Thursday that went well but I thought we personally did better in rehearsals...but we had extra dress rehearsals and such at night, and I had a master class too on top of it and I had to practice a lot more than normal because I have to present seven minor scales two octaves...last friday, but he cancelled that lesson so I guess I now have till this Friday. I am not at all ready, I have had several really good practice sessions, one being three hours this past Sunday...but I just can't play the new scales fast and even like I can the major scales I have known for years...so many minor scales!! Three different types for each major...
My parents came up here for parents weekend which was pretty cool, it was really disappointing though cause my parents paid for everything they had to that we were suppossed to do together and as it turned out I couldn't because of band and it kind of got completely wasted, like 75$ worth wasted, but such is life. We were able to go out and get myself a Tuxedo though which is awesome because I would have had no way to get it...so I got to wear it at the concert, it was pretty nice.
I have to go to 15 recitals a semester so this weekend I went to 2 that were pretty cool but tonight I went to a Jazz band concert and it was pretty spectacular.
I can register for classes sometime in the next two weeks or something, and its gonna be even crazier than it is now, I already planned it out and everything and the only thing I like about it is that I don't have to wake up until either 10 or 12...but I have like 5-6 classes in a row after that...every day but Friday, only 2 classes on Friday and free weekends, so I REALLY LIKE THAT...because I certainly don't have free weekends this semester.
I can't wait till Thanksgiving because I will get to come back to Orlando for the first time, and actually eat some real food!!!
I'm missing my baby cousin growing up, and I miss my pup!!
The football game this past Saturday was horrible, so many FOULS...and we lost for the first time ruining our chance at a national championship...boo We were doing so damn well too! Notre Dame was robbed too against USC, they SO should have won that game, the REFS really suck for giving USC 7 extra seconds to score...bah It is official I hate USC and UVA
Classes are cool though I think I'm doing pretty well, its hard work though trying to keep up with everything...and I think I have gotten myself in a world of hurt when it comes to class piano, because we chose our final exam recital pieces already, yea its already more than half way through the semester!!! That is insane! But we chose the piece and I just happen to have a copy of a Billy Joel song I stole off a Midi...which is hard as all holy hell and she was like well thats really hard but its doable...so basically I'm doing it now...and it hurts to play its like such a stretch lol. Everyone else is playing a small piece out of a beginning book, like Aloutte or something...lol I hope I can pull this off, I plan on singing it too lol
Yes, we can be heros, but just for one day.
Well Before my head explodes I think I am going to lay down or something, I will try and not leave the two or three people who care hanging for a month at a time...lol
