I love you Melissa, and I'm grateful for your comment. I've noticed too, that we're drifting onto different paths, as all friends do. And sharing tht similar intense feeling of comradery towards you- it makes me sad. we depended on each other- and I'll be honest in saying that without you, who knows how I wouldv'e gotten through some of the things that I have endured. But your words are beautiful still and I definately hope that we can continue on as long as possible, and though paths take different directions, I'm sure that one day we will meet eachother again... and it will be a wonderful day. I had a bad day yesterday, and I reread your comment and it revived my optimism once again. Thank you for knowing everything- and being there for me always- and you know that if I ever need you, I'll call you. And always know that you can always do the same.

No one truly walks the same path, but in trying to you lead yourself to dead pastures. Reliance is a plague. Only in independence do you find true security because it's a mental security that no one else can give you.

How is that relevant at all? This has been my philosophy for a lot longer than I've been reading the Invisible Man.

This post is old but I was checking your LJ and saw the photo and remembered how much I loved that NYC trip. Good times. I miss the old gang.
