My PSG is a sorry dude. He's fat, annoying as fuck, and doesn't stick up for his guys. Well, someone made a little comic in the stalls (it's a military thing) of him taking it in the ass, trying to get promoted. (He's an E-6 in an E-7 position right now.) He saw it, and fuckin went down wicked hard on us. So now the guys that don't go on mission work in the motorpool from 0600 to 2100! Everyday. 7 days a week. Even when there's nothing to do. That leaves minimal time for calling home and whatnot. Not that I have a right to bitch. I aint married, I don't have any kids. Oh yea. And I'm pretty much on this scheduale permenantely because I'm broke and I CAN'T go out on missions. Aint that something.
I got the "honor" of being one of 3 mechanics chosen out of the whole TF to do services on the Col.'s tank. And I was the lowest ranking one. I'm just that good. Anyways, we did services in 3 days, which is good, trust me. So. Guess who had Judas Priest blasting from the Col.'s loudspeakers! Yep. Got a good ol' asschewing for that one.
Oh yea. To go right along with Ben's thing about the medals. This sorry-ass motherfucker is getting a Silver Star at the end of the deployment. All the PSG's are. Something about extraordinary leadership or something. You know, this guy hasn't gone out of the gate once this whole deployment. ONCE. And the guy from 1/26 who jumped on a grenade saving 3 people's lives giving his own, he got the Silver Star. Aint THAT something.
Luckily I got to lie about my ankle and say it's all better and I'm not taking any more pills (which I most definitely am) and I'm on ECP's for a week. Not really my type of thing but it gets me out of the motorpool and changes my hours around a bit. But don't worry. Next week, I'll be back in the motorpool.
Even since I got back from home things have gone pretty terrible. We sent three guys to Germany, 2 broken legs and a broken wrist. You should see what's left of the humvee. Then I hurt myself. And now we got this PSG problem. Oh yea. Plus family issues. Let's not even get into that.
So. That's about it. 5 more months. That's it! Too easy.
