So I've been reading a book about Buddhism. I'm interested in Buddhism from an academic point of view. The book goes through the history of Siddhartha Gautama, the conversions of the major Asian countries, and how Buddhism has come to the West. That's where I am now.
One sentence from the book made me realize that if I were to ever find religion, Buddhism might be it. The sentence is, "Buddhism has a moral and ethical code without requiring the belief in a diety." I thought that was really cool.
