*murmurs, barely hearing him* It's my fault... It's all my fault... I'm so sorry...!

*she seems to feel his presence now and looks up, before jerking away with a gasp. Wiping at her eyes, she stares at him bizarrely, her eyes red and puffy from crying, and an interesting butterfly-like bruise on her neck, as though someone had tried to strangle her*

*She's seen some pretty weird things before, but this possibly took the cake*
